Now, let’s be clear—I didn't quite grasp what that meant then, but the allure of excitement and adventure was intoxicating, especially after eavesdropping on my mom’s bunco night tales. Fast-forward nearly 40 years and 40 countries later, while “hot affairs” haven't exactly filled my travel itinerary, my adventures have been nothing short of thrilling.
Armed with degrees in Anthropology and Sociology, I embedded myself within the vibrant communities I visited. I wasn’t just a tourist; I was a curious explorer on a quest to connect and engage.
